All of my sarongs listed here are made of high quality rayon to give you the most comfortable sensation!
This exquisite sarong was hand make in Bali, Indonesia. Size is start 58" X 42". This is a hand made product and sizes, colors and techniques will vary based on the individual skills and preferences of the artist. The buyer acknowledges that minor variations are a part of the crafting process and add to the sarong's intrinsic worth by creating a unique item. Colors on sarong can be applied in a variety of ways from silk screening, to tie dyeing, to batik to air brushing. The tendency is to use vibrant colors, made all the more so by washing the fabric in the crystal pure waters of the island. This helps prevent unwanted alterations to the dyes. Puzzled at the African motif? Bali artisans have a very international out look. In addition to Bali designs relating to the ocean and religion you will also see African, Jamaican and even Celtic designs. Don't be surprised to see Che or Peter Tosh on a sarong. Weaving, silver work, carving and beading are artistic traditions that go back centuries in this area.
Packing materialsis not included in shipping costs. I pack well, while striving to keep shipping costs down for the buyer. I'm not like some sellers who charge huge markups on their shipping and handling. I ship priority mail since at this weight range the cost is comparable to parcel post under the new Post Office rates. I always research the best rates on larger orders.
